This policy explains what personal data [business or legal name, e.g. Arijita ___ (Aura Bloom with Arijita)] (“Aura Bloom”, “we”) collects through this website and our programs, why, and the choices you have. It is written to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- What you give us in forms: your name, email, WhatsApp number, age range, and the answers you choose to share about what you hope to get from a program.
- Booking and payment details: your name, contact details, what you booked and the amount paid. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure page and are never seen or stored by us.
- Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
- Basic website usage (pages visited, device type, approximate location) through privacy-respecting analytics, used only to improve the site.
We do not ask for medical records, and please don't send us any. Our programs are not medical treatment.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, register you for a session, and send you joining details.
- To take payments and issue refunds where they apply.
- To tell you about our other programs, only if you agreed to this in the form. You can opt out at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
We use your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or make a booking, and to provide the service you asked for.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services that help us run Aura Bloom, and only as much as each one needs:
- Razorpay (payments), Web3Forms (delivers website forms to our email), Cal.com (bookings), Google (forms, email and video calls), WhatsApp (messages), and Microsoft Azure (website hosting).
- Government or legal authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers may store data outside India, under their own security and privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and registration details for up to [24 months] after your last contact with us, and payment records for as long as tax law requires (usually 8 years). After that we delete them.
Your rights
- See a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update it.
- Ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything done before it.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
- Raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.

Testimonials and photos
We publish a participant's words, photo or video only with her written permission, and remove it promptly if she asks.
Children
Our programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security
This website is served only over encrypted HTTPS. We limit access to your data to the people who need it to serve you, and we use two-step sign-in on the accounts that hold it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be shared by email with people on our list.
